CDL Third Party Testing
The driving skills test can be administered by Third Party Examiners who have certified in CDL skills testing procedures. An example of a Third Party Tester would be a company that provides their own testing for a fee. Third party tester fees are determined by the tester.
After completion of a driving skills test with a Third Party Tester, they will submit the test results electronically to the Driver License Division. They will also give the applicant a copy of the test administered in a sealed envelope. This envelope must be brought with the applicant to the Driver License Division unopened in order to complete the CDL.
