About

The Office of Legal Services Innovation was created in Autumn 2019 to work on the proposals in the August 2019 report on “Narrowing the Access-to-Justice Gap by Reimagining Regulation”

Its goal is to optimize the regulatory structure for the legal services market, in order to increase access to and affordability of legal services. It is taking a data-driven, risk-oriented approach, that also allows for new innovative models to be tried out in a controlled Regulatory Sandbox.
