The Department of Public Safety (DPS) is committed to protecting and educating the citizens of Utah in all facets of public safety. Now is the time to ensure you are doing everything you can to protect your digital identity. In partnership with the Utah Department of Commerce, we are taking a stance on Cyber Crime and the criminals who target individuals across the state of Utah and beyond.
Through a grant provided by the Utah Department of Commerce, we are embarking on a campaign to educate everyone about the threats that face each of us online. Today our world is more connected than ever before. With Internet touching almost all aspects of our daily life, we want to empower everyone to protect themselves against these invisible criminals.
Not only is Cyber Crime a threat to the general public, but the growing threat of cyber intrusion to public agencies is a real concern.
