- 5,013 distracted driver crashes occurred in Utah which resulted in 2,796 injured personsand 17 deaths.
- Where driver distraction was known, 11% of all crashes inUtah involved a distracted driver.
- Nearly half (49%) of distracted driving crashes were rear end crashes.
